- Account security: Protect your login credentials and personal information. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Important Note
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in account suspension or termination. Repeated violations may lead to permanent banning from the Dealistaan platform.
2. Allowed & Prohibited Items
To maintain a safe and legal marketplace, Dealistaan has clear guidelines about what can and cannot be listed on our platform. These rules apply to all users and all transactions.

- Genuine products: Listings for real, physical items that you legally own and can transfer to a buyer.
- Authentic services: Legitimate services that you are qualified to provide, with clear descriptions of what’s included.
- Original content: Digital products or creative works that you have the rights to distribute.
- Properly categorized items: Products listed in the most appropriate category with accurate tags.
- Transparent pricing: Clear, honest pricing with any additional fees (shipping, taxes) disclosed upfront.

- Illegal items: Drugs, weapons, stolen goods, or any item prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.
- Counterfeit goods: Replicas or imitation products presented as genuine brand-name items.
- Dangerous materials: Hazardous substances, explosives, or regulated items without proper documentation.
- Adult content: Pornography, adult services, or sexually explicit material of any kind.
- Financial services: Loans, investments, or any form of financial instrument without proper licensing.

3. Our Right to Remove Content

- Intellectual property: Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights will be removed in accordance with DMCA procedures.
- Platform integrity: We may remove content that threatens the security, stability, or reputation of the Dealistaan platform, even if not explicitly prohibited.
Appeal Process
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit an appeal through our Contact Form. Include relevant details and any supporting documentation. Our moderation team will review your appeal and respond within 5-7 business days.
4. Intellectual Property Disclaimer
All intellectual property rights related to the Dealistaan platform and its content are protected. This section outlines the proper use of our intellectual property and your responsibilities regarding content you upload.
- Platform IP: Unless otherwise stated, all platform elements including software, design, logos, and content are owned by Union Soft (parent company) and protected by intellectual property laws.
- User content license: By posting content on Dealistaan, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the service.
- Prohibited use: You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Dealistaan’s intellectual property without express written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability
Dealistaan provides a platform to connect buyers and sellers, but we are not directly involved in transactions between users. This section explains the limits of our responsibility.
- Transaction intermediary: Dealistaan acts solely as a venue for transactions and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items advertised or the truthfulness of listings.
- No warranty: The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- User disputes: We are not responsible for any disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damage of any kind that might arise between users, including but not limited to those related to transactions.
- Service availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and are not liable for any consequences resulting from service interruptions or technical issues.
- Damages limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dealistaan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
User Protection Recommendations
To protect yourself when using Dealistaan:
- Verify the identity and reputation of buyers/sellers before transacting
- Use secure payment methods with fraud protection
- Keep all communications within the Dealistaan platform
- Inspect items thoroughly before completing payment
- Report suspicious activity immediately to our support team
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of disputes between users or between users and Dealistaan, these terms outline the process for resolution.
- User disputes: Dealistaan encourages users to resolve disputes amicably between themselves. Our customer support team may assist in facilitating communication but does not act as arbitrator.
- Mediation: For disputes that cannot be resolved directly, users may request mediation through Dealistaan’s dispute resolution service (fees may apply).
- Arbitration agreement: Any legal dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Mumbai, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- Class action waiver: Users agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
- Governing law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution Process
- Direct negotiation: Parties attempt to resolve the dispute through direct communication within 14 days of the issue arising.
- Mediation request: If unresolved, either party may submit a formal mediation request through Dealistaan’s resolution center.
- Mediation process: A neutral third-party mediator will be assigned to facilitate resolution (typically completed within 30 days).
- Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration as described above.
- Legal action: Claims not subject to arbitration may be brought in the courts of Mumbai, India.
7. Modifications to Terms
Dealistaan may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements.
- Notification of changes: We will notify users of material changes to these terms through email or prominent notices on our platform at least 30 days before changes take effect.
- Continued use: Your continued use of Dealistaan after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
- Review responsibility: It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates or changes.
- Archive of changes: We maintain an archive of previous versions of these terms which can be provided upon request.
